Day1:Fez - Ifrane - Midelt Valley - Zizi - Erg Chebbi Dunes
We will begin our two-day excursions in the desert of Fez leaving the old city of Fez towards the quiet cities and green areas of the spectacular Middle Atlas, passing by the wonderful views of the mountains and the charming Berber villages. We will stop at Immouzer, the small mountain town, to relax and get fresh air.Then, during our tours, we will continue to Ifrane, «Little Moroccan Switzerland».Once in this city ,you will certainly admire the exotic climate,
the large green trees, the beautiful rivers and the fresh mountain air,because you can simply relax and enjoy the spectacular calm, away from all the hustle and bustle.Thus the charming cedar forest, where we will make explore the wild forest and meet the little monkeys. Drive to Midelt, the city of rocks, where we would taste our wonderful Moroccan tajine and taste the real Moroccan cuisine.Then we will start to cross the remarkable villages of the Middle Atlas by observing the mountain landscape metamorphose from its rock formation to the sand dunes. The last leg of our tours in this day would be in Merzouga.the golden gate of the Moroccan Sahara. Our camels would be waiting for us in the beautiful village, to take us on the most fascinating camel trek through the golden sea and spectacular sands to witness a beautiful sunset over the Sahara.
We would spend the first night in a Bivouac, where we gather around the campfire, we will have a dinner in the desert and have a relaxing night under the starry sky.
Day2:Dunes of Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Erfoud - Fes
Rise early , we will start the last day of our Fez to Merzouga 2 days by an early morning camel trek to witness the extraordinary beauty of the high golden dunes and the fascinating sunrise.
You will contemplate the wide Sahara and the fascinating camel chain, and get your own majestic sense of Lawrence of Arabia. Then we will return to our refined hotel in Merzouga,
where you will enjoy a fresh breakfast within the Saharadesert. .Take a rest before heading to Rissani, an ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans and the most important market town for Sub-Sahara camel caravans was built on the ruins of Sijilmassa,to visit its colorful and authentic souk and the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, then to Saad el Hassan el Awal. The next stopping place would be Erfoud, the Moroccan capital of dates palm and fossils,where we could see the captivating old stones and learn more about the local life.After visiting the old city of Fez, we will take the road to the picturesque Berber village to have a savory local dish for lunch. We would cross the beautiful and changing landscapes and mountains of the Middle Atlas, to finally drop you at your luxury hotel in Fez.
